1318 Lafayette Street
On December 24,1881,Jesse rented the infamous house at 1318 Lafayette Street in St.Joseph,Missouri.The house was moved next to the Patee House Museum.The house today is a museum telling of the life and death of Jesse.All proceeds of admission to the museum go back into maintaining this and the Patee Museum.A must-visit for anyone interested in Jesse.Below is what the house looks like today.

R.I.P. little Archie
On December 13,1866,'little Archie' Clement was killed in Lexington,Missouri. Archie fought with Jesse in Quantrill's group,but it's also believed that Archie is the reason Jesse and the gang got into bank robbing(Archie was part of the first daylight bank robbery on 02/13/1866).Archie was bold that even while he lay dying-riddeled with bullets-he was trying to cock his gun with his teeth.R.I.P. Archie.

John McCorkle's Birthday
On December 12,1828,John McCorkle was born in Savannah,Missouri.McCorkle was Cole Younger's first cousin;he fought beside Jesse in Quantrill's group during the massacre of Centralia.He left the group before the bank robberies took place;wrote a book called:"My Three Years with Quantrill".He died 01/14/1918 of natural causes.

December 7,1869,moments before noon,Frank & Jesse walked into Daviess County Savings Association in Gallatin,Missouri.Cashier,John W.Sheets was killed.$700 was stolen.This robbery was the robbery that made Jesse & Frank infamous...below is a picture of the bank and what it looked like in 1869.
